This October, we attended The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere in Las Vegas, and we can’t wait to share our tips with you, without giving away too much of the magic. The timeless classic you know and love is reimagined through one of the most advanced venues in the world. Even if you’ve seen The Wizard of Oz dozens of times, you’ve never seen it quite like this.

About The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere

The Sphere is bringing Dorothy, Toto, and the Yellow Brick Road to life with immersive visuals and next-level sound. This special presentation has been shortened to 75 minutes, making it easy to enjoy while fitting into a busy Vegas itinerary.
Why see it again? Because at The Sphere, you don’t just watch the movie, you feel like you’re stepping inside it. From the swirling tornado to the vibrant Emerald City, the technology makes every scene more magical.
Where to Find The Sphere in Las Vegas

The Sphere is located at:
255 Sands Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89169
It’s just off the Strip, near major resorts, making it an easy stop whether you’re staying nearby or exploring for the evening. Plan some extra time before or after the show to admire the outside of the building. Its glowing displays are a show in themselves.
Parking Tips for Camper Van Travelers

Traveling by camper van? Parking in Las Vegas can be tricky, especially near large venues like The Sphere. Here are some tips:
- The Sphere has its own parking lot, which is best suited for standard vehicles. Don’t worry, your camper van won’t be too tall for entry because there is no roof.
- Always allow extra time for traffic, as shows at The Sphere draw big crowds.
- We purchased a parking pass online in advance, which helped relieve the stress of wondering whether we’d find a spot.
What’s Allowed Inside The Sphere

Like most venues, The Sphere has clear guidelines about what you can (and can’t) bring inside. Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
Allowed
- Small bags. I brought a small handbag and they opened it and checked inside.
- An empty water bottle to refill once inside
- Personal cameras or phones for photos
Not allowed
- Large backpacks or luggage
- Outside food and drinks
- Professional camera gear or tripods
- Sharp objects or anything that could be considered unsafe
Tip: Use a clear stadium approved bag to make security easier.
Why See The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere?

Even if you know the movie by heart, The Sphere transforms it into something brand new:
- Immersive visuals: The 360-degree dome surrounds you with the story.
- Unmatched sound quality: Every line and note feels crisp and powerful.
- A new experience: Perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for something beyond casinos.
- Time-friendly: At just 75 minutes, it’s the ideal length for an evening activity.
It’s nostalgia, technology, and artistry combined.
Tips for Attending The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere

To make the most of your visit, here are some practical tips:

- Dress in layers. The air conditioning can be strong.
