Celebrating Fall Restaurant Week this November 9th -15th, 2020 from the comfort of home. We love traveling and visiting new restaurants. Trying new foods is another way we like to explore. The restaurant in Pinal Country Arizona had the following special all week long.
We checked our schedule for a nice evening to order and pick up the meal. I called in the afternoon for an evening pick up. When I arrived at the outdoor pickup station, there was a phone number to call to let them know what numbered spot I was parked in. The restaurant representative came out with two large handled bags and two pizza boxes. I thought, “Oh my, I might have miss read the menu or they are providing huge servings.” Turns out they provided huge servings. I will share that we had leftovers for a few days.
First Course
Charcuterie Board Finocchiona, Prosciutto, Irish Cheddar, Shafts Gold Mine Aged Bleu, St. Andres Triple Cream, Mixed Olives, Brandied Apricots, Figs, House Sesame Crackers
How do you feel about cheese? I love them. Trying new cheeses is like trying on rock climbing shoes. You have to test them out before you find the right one.
Second Course
Salmon and Arugula Pizza 7” Marmalade Brushed Crust, Bleu Cream Sauce, Red Onion
When I read the description for this course, I did not think this would be something that I would like. The combination of salmon and arugula sounded weird to me. Wow, I was glad I tried it. It was so good that I ate the whole pizza that evening. I would purchase this if I saw it at a restaurant. The sauce was good delicious that I used my finger to scoop up a drop that was on the plate.
Third Course
Scallop and Tenderloin Pomodoro Capellini, Fresh Tomato Sauce, Basil, White Balsamic Pink Peppercorn Reduction, Black Pepper Truffle Crostini
The scallops were huge and melted in my mouth. The tenderloin was chopped up into small pieces that blended well with the noodles. I was fortunate to have this meal multiple times over the next few days because there was so much of it.

That food looks delicious! I’m reading this before breakfast and I could eat some pizza right now. (Even though it’s not yet 7:00 a.m.)
Love it… I could eat pizza before 7am too.
Yum the second course looks good to me!
I trust you would try it next time you see it at a restaurant.
Wow, the food looks delicious. The pizza combination does sound a bit strange but it also looks amazing. I’m sure it was delicious as you said.
