Our Bearizona adventure began right from the comfort of our truck seats. We were amazed as bears, bison, and other wildlife roamed just feet from our windows, giving us an unforgettable close-up experience with these incredible animals.

Where is Bearizona

Bearizona, located at 1500 E. Route 66, Williams, AZ 86046, is a unique drive-thru wildlife park nestled in the scenic landscape of northern Arizona. We decided to visit after several friends recommended it for its beautiful and well-cared-for animals—and we’re so glad we did. The experience exceeded our expectations, offering an up-close look at a variety of wildlife in a setting that felt both natural and immersive.Adventures at Bearizona Bears

Best Time of Day to Visit

We highly recommend visiting Bearizona first thing in the morning—it’s the best time to catch the animals at their most active! We went in August and arrived right when the gates opened. The cooler morning temps had the animals up and moving, and we were excited to see so many adorable baby animals—seriously, they were so cute! Even better? You’re allowed to drive through each section as many times as you like, so we looped back for even more wildlife fun!

Animal Safety

Driving through the bear and wolf sections is such a thrill! The park instructs you to roll up your windows, lock your doors, and stay inside your vehicle—and for good reason! We’ve heard stories of curious animals, especially the bears, climbing right on top of stopped cars. It adds an extra dose of excitement knowing you’re just feet away from these powerful creatures in their element!

In the other areas—like where the bison, bighorn sheep, and deer roam—you’re can roll your windows down. It’s absolutely incredible how close you get to these majestic animals.

Walking Park

Bearizona also features a walk-through section of the park. Where you can explore on foot and see an amazing variety of animals like bobcats, javelina, foxes, a jaguar, and playful otters. There’s even a charming petting area. Where you can get up close to friendly chickens and goats—it’s fun for all ages!
