AmaWaterways is a river cruising company with many destinations. Cruise Planners – Arizona Cruise and Travel hosted a river cruising event for AmaWaterways to share with us their locations and the boats. The last time I was on a riverboat cruise was many years ago when I was visiting Egypt. I was excited to learn how the ships have changed.
Travel Destinations
Brandon Oscarson, Business Development Manager for AmaWaterways was the guest speaker. We learned that AmaWaterways have river cruises in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Brandon recently cruised on the AmaMagna and shared his photos of the boat and the landscape of the countryside. I liked that he spoke about the different amenities, the pool, restaurants, and libraries that are on the boats. I learned that when the boat is at a port and guests get off the boat to venture into the town, the boat will provide each person with a box of water. Yes, a box of water to be more environmentally friendly. That is a great idea.
AmaWaterways Travel Themes
As we are learning about river cruising, we find out there are themed cruises too. For example, a themed cruise is the Christmas Market – which is cruising during Christmas time to see the lights and holiday shows in Hungary, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and many more places. For those who love to golf, there is are Luxury Golf Cruises. We can’t forget about those who enjoy a glass of wine, yes there are Wine Cruises. They even have Africa Safaris and Wildlife Cruises in which you can see baby elephants.

Booking incentives are a highlight at the end of these educational events. Depending on the event, the incentive could be if you schedule a cruise at the event. Sometimes the booking needs to take place within 48 hours or up to a week from the event. This is a wonderful bonus to those who attend and should be taken advantage of.
