Mini Travel Expo – Gilbert, Arizona

Mini Travel Expo Forever sabbatical

A travel expo is a wonderful place to learn all the options available to you when choosing your next vacation. Cruise Planners – Arizona Cruise and Travel hosted a mini travel expo in February and I was glad to be invited. Are you one to ask a lot of questions to see what all the activities and amenities there are? I am. Let us share the fun travel companies that attended this expo.

Royal Caribbean

We have not been on a Royal Caribbean cruise yet, so I asked a lot of questions. I learned that they have an island with awesome amenities like water slides! Did you know on their boats there is a Flowrider machine? If you are not familiar with the Flowrider, it allows you to surf to a constant wave. Many years ago I took Flowrider lessons at a local Arizona school. I am excited to test out my skills.

Sandals Resorts

Back a few years, we visited a Sandals Resort in the Bahamas. It was our first out of country vacation together. I loved that it was all-inclusive. We did not have to worry about losing our wallets in the ocean because we left it behind in the room. We also appreciated that the resort was adults only. It was great to relax by the pool.

AmaWaterways River Cruising

You might remember reading about AmaWaterways River Cruising a while back when I attended an informational meeting. It was great to reconnect with AmaWaterways River Cruising at this event. I like that the line has Holiday Themed Cruises.

Carnival Cruise

Many years ago for my birthday we went on a Carnival Cruise and had a nice time. When I was chatting with the representative I learned that there are Serenity Adults Only areas on the boats. She also shared that there is Sky Ride, a ride where you are above everyone on the boat. That is a ride I would like to experience.

Travel Expo Prizes and Discounts

I love contests and drawings. Do you enter into every contest when you visit a travel expo? I do, why not. Bonus: my number was drawn and I won an awesome bag with a beach ball and other swag from Royal Caribbean.

Tip: When visiting a travel expo ask the booth representative if there are any specials for booking during the expo. Then contact you a favorite travel agent and book your next vacation.

Ribbon Cutting

Richard and Kirstin are the owners of Cruise Planners – Arizona Cruise and Travel. On this day they had their ribbon cutting for their new location in Gilbert, Arizona. The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce was there to support the grand opening.

Travel Expo

I enjoy travel expos, large and small. This mini travel expo was nice because I felt like I could talk to the representatives at the booths. There was no rush to get to the next booth. Do you like large or small travel expos?

  3. I love events like this! How nice to have something like this at such a small scale too instead of a huge convention center with traffic and too many people. Right up my alley!
