The Pack Your Bags travel event had a full itinerary of travel-themed activities planned, and we did not want to miss a single stop on the journey. Let us go explore.
When we arrived we went to the check-in table where we were presented with beautiful colored leis.
Passport Activity Card
At the check-in table, we both received our passports for the event. The passport listed all the fun activities to experience.
Our first stop was to the bucket list booth. We each received a form to write where we would visit. Hunter and I put down Fiji. Although we have been to an island there, there are still many islands to explore in Fiji.
The next booth was the Explore 52 station. There was a smart computer screen with locations – cities, sightseeing spots, and restaurants. We received a form with questions. Then to find the answers, we used the smart computer screen for the hunt.
As we walked around the event, many appetizers were brought to us. I do not know what they all were but I sampled each item and they tasted great.
There was a DJ/singer with steel drums playing during the event. At one point I did get on the dance floor and danced to the Cupid Shuffle, while Hunter helped save our seats. He said he was protecting them. Thought there was plenty of seats. I think he just did not want to dance. 🙂
There was a great packing demonstration to attend. We learned techniques to pack smarter and more efficiently. One of the audience members asked if the weight of the bag and contents would be under 50lbs and the instructor said her luggage is under 50lbs.
There was a booth for drink demonstrations. We made sure we visited this booth. The drinks were Mai Tais with cute umbrellas. They also had additional beverages for purchase.
When we completed our journey and had all the boxes signed off on our passports, we turned them in. There was a drawing for many wonderful prizes such as luggage, spa gift cards, and restaurant gift cards.
As we were departing the event, we received very cute luggage tags that we will be putting on our luggage when we get home.

That looks like a lot of great information they gave you. Packing a bag under 50 pounds is so hard for many people!
