Mixology Demo

There were many cups with bourbon at the front of the room. All ingredients were lined up in a cafeteria-style line. There was also a large pot on the stove. The local bartender demonstrated how to mix, cook, and prepare the Salted Caramel Apple Hot Toddy. Then each of the attendees lined up and were given a cup of bourbon. Then the bartender added 8 oz of hot apple cider. Next we each added the topping that we wanted. Such as rock salt, whipped cream, cinnamon, white, and chocolate. We choose to put everything on and loved it.

Pumpkin Spice Face Mask

Hunter was not so excited about this part of the demonstration. However, I was. The local Spa representative taught us how to mix the ingredients to make the Pumpkin Spice Latte Homemade Facemask. As she added and mixed everything together she asked for a volunteer. My hand shot up in the air and she chose me. She did not put the mask on my face but instead, she massaged the cream on the hands and up to my elbows. I love messages and this was very relaxing especially after drinking the hot toddy. At the end of the event, each attendee received a premixed container of Pumpkin Spice Latte Homemade Facemask. Hunter gave me his jar. Bonus!!!

I recommend if you get a hand massage to have an adult beverage too. Since I have never tasted a Hot Toddy, I was not sure if I would like it. I learned that I like Salted Caramel Apple Hot Toddy. Have you attended a mixology class? If yes, what was the drink?
