Hay? Yes, straw hay bales are scattered all around Queen Creek, Arizona businesses for you to find. As of October 17, 2020, when we went exploring, there were 49 hay bales to locate between October 5 through October 31, 2020. Ready to take on the #HayQC challenge?

The Challenge

Note the straw hay bales are all outside of the businesses which, makes it very simple to find them. The simple steps in this challenge include:

  • Take a selfie or photo
  • Post using the hashtag #HayQC
  • Visit the Queen Creek Recreation Annex with your photos to receive some candy

Tip for visiting the Queen Creek Recreation Annex to obtain your candy. Call 480-358-3700 for their hours. If you google search as we did for Queen Creek Recreation Annex, the hours are wrong. When we arrived at the building, the sign on the door said closed Saturday and Sunday.

  1. The tutu hay bale is awesome. I see many people got super creative which just adds to the fun of the adventure.

  2. Hey getting outside to find hay is a perfect outdoor activity. Love the bales having character.

  3. This is so cool. We have a pumpkin event similar to this but hay is something totally new. I love it.

  4. What fun! We have scarecrows on our square in my hometown and yesterday we found a scarecrow trail in Jasper County, IN, but I’ve never heard of hay bales – I love it!

  7. Your pictures brought a smile to my face. I love all the creative ideas and how dedicated you were to each pose. We don’t have hay bails paintings here but the city’s business decorates scarecrows. The kids and adults love it!
